About
IM Mohammad Nubairshah Shaikh, awarded the International Master title in 2016, is one of India’s leading young chess coaches. He is the winner of the SAARC Chess Championship in both 2019 and 2023. With a peak FIDE rating of 2461, he has achieved multiple international open titles. His victories include Silver Lake Open 2022, Jaffna International Open 2024, and Vaujany International Festival 2025 and several events with unbeaten scores. As a coach, he has trained players from beginners to titled professionals, producing national champions and international medallists. His coaching combines practical tournament experience with modern training techniques, with modern AI use in chess for faster preparations.
