None at all. This course is built from scratch for absolute beginners. We start with the very basics — the board, the pieces, how they move. If your child has never touched a chess board, this is the perfect starting point.
This is the most common concern we hear. Our classes are specifically designed to be interactive — not lecture-style. Live puzzles appear on screen, kids compete on a leaderboard, and the coach keeps energy high throughout. With only 8 kids per class, the coach immediately notices if anyone zones out and re-engages them personally.
